Great ambient with nice craft cocktails! Our bartenders are great and very attentive to us. The presentation of the food is great and tasty! An update from dining in the restaurant! The presentation and food flavor are top-notch! The menu typically changes every three to four months. I made a couple of orders to share for two people and it was great! Stillwell salad, fried mushrooms, crab cake, Alaskan halibut, and grasshopper mousse cake as a dessert! It was delicious!
Lovely dining experience here with friends! Phenomenal environment from our seats to the bar. Our server was knowledgeable in the menu and ingredients offered in each dish. You can see the kitchen where you’re seated and seeing your food get placed.
My server, MaKenna, kept me supplied with fresh coffee, orange juice, and phenomenal service! I was seated quickly. My table was clean with a great view. The seating was firm and comfortable. The buffet is always a great choice. The food was warm and hygienic in lidded stainless steel warming pans. Each dish was clearly labeled. The bacon perfectly crisped, the potatoes seasoned to perfection, scrambled eggs light & fluffy. Honeydew melon, strawberries, and cubes of pineapple naturally sweet. Well worth the cost!
I recently dined at The Stilwell restaurant and had an absolutely delightful experience! The Old Fashioned cocktail was expertly crafted, setting the perfect tone for the evening. Although the bread accompanying the goat cheese had a slight burn taste, the crab cake more than made up for it with its impeccable flavor and texture. And let’s talk about the roasted chicken—it exceeded all expectations, delivering a mouthwatering and satisfying dish that left me thoroughly impressed. I can’t wait to return for another extraordinary dining experience at The Stilwell!
10/10 experience here. The food here was great, plenty of nutritious option, and the waitress who helped us was extremely knowledgeable on all items of the menu. I had ordered the Buttonwood Roasted chicken and expectations were exceeded. Beautifully presented dish, great flavors, and quite a large portion size, I was only able to finish about half. Great restaurant that I would definitely visit again when back in KC.
Phenomenal experience overall. Service was very friendly and accommodating. Most of the entree menu can be modified to be GF, and the server ensured that it was. My BBQ platter (with cornbread and Mac and cheese) was really good, but the chicken was a bit dry. My wife loved her wedge salad and shrimp & grits. A great meal during our stay at the hotel.
Wonderful experience! The food was phenomenal - had the salmon dish and the barbecue. Such good flavor for everything and the wine selection was great! Our server was very knowledgeable on gluten free options for our party. The ambiance was lovely as well with the classy bar right outside. Will return!
If you haven’t been here before, you’re missing out! I’ll be honest, when we first came in here this morning I wasn’t sure what to expect. It took a bit for someone to get to our table and there seemed to be a general confusion among staff. We almost had the vibe that it was a new restaurant with new staff and new menus. My daughter saw on the kids menu that it said lunch and dinner was served “all day”. Even though it was breakfast, she wanted pizza on the dinner/lunch menu. It was a bit misleading on the menu but I don’t think they meant that you could get lunch/dinner in the morning too. Instead of asking my daughter to change her order though, the staff made it happen and never came to our table to address the mixup. I only knew it was an issue because I overheard the staff talking to the kitchen about making it happen. Honestly, the way they took care of us was the icing on the cake. It really set the stage for our day of sightseeing. You see, our daughter is the angry feline of the family and you never know what will set her off. That pizza paved the way for a positive start on our day. The food arrived quickly, the service was very friendly and we were absolutely blown away by everything! Our server Lavere took such good care of the 6 of us. My husband accidentally left his phone at the table when we left and Lavere sprinted out to find us!! If I could give this place more stars, I would.
